With the rising of the sun, Kat’s first port of call is to visit her yoga practice. Her mat is rolled out and she practices for approximately 2 hours each morning. Each practice is unique, flowing, present and abundant and each practice teaches Kat to prepare her Self for the day.
Kat’s personal practice starts with a guided or silent meditation, mantra and/or chanting to focus and awaken her spiritual chakras, this opens her spiritually, emotionally and physically to discern, in her asana practice and with awareness throughout her day.
Her asana practice is based on Ashtanga Vinyasa style and Vinyasa Yoga Flow style and is currently fine-tuning her second-series knowledge and with magical results within. She also flows with Shiva Rea’s style of teachings practising to the magic of Prana and Spanda - subtle, creative pulse of the Universe, music, body and breath awareness. Moon and Menses days are practised with either complete rest and meditation and/or softer feminine practice of Lady Niguma honouring the feminine divine within.
Kat’s heart has taught her over time to follow asana, pranayama and meditation this for her is what keeps her whole as a person, abundant and present.
Kat is about living spiritually aware with a fully open-heart and connected to Earth life with gratitude. She wants to see, touch, sense, hear, taste and smell it all around her, drink her breath and soak up the atmosphere. She already feels whole, humbled and complete through discernment, awareness and a disciplined sadhana and feels extremely grateful to be living yoga.
